Pharmacy Technicians are vital members of our health care team with expertise focused on the knowledge, skills and abilities related to the technical elements of prescription and patient information, in addition to product and drug distribution. Pharmacy Technicians are accountable and responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of prescription-product preparation and release. Pharmacy Technicians frequently collaborate with the pharmacist for patient health and wellness promotion, disease prevention and chronic disease management, and contributing a supportive role in the autonomy of patients.
The ever-evolving pharmacy field has created a high demand for Registered Pharmacy Technicians (RPhT), with the majority of shortages faced by local hospitals and many other pharmacy settings. The current demand for Registered Pharmacy Technicians is the perfect opportunity to become prepared and well trained with a contribution to the Pharmacy healthcare sector that will be invaluable.
