Upon graduation, you?ll be ready to enter the workforce. You will build a strong foundation in accounting, computerized systems, income tax preparation, running payroll, and meeting compliance through annual payroll cycles. This program will teach you the office administration skills needed for the modern workplace.
Additionally, the Payroll and Income Tax Practitioner program fulfills every core and elective course credit requirement for the National Payroll Institute (NPI)?Certified Payroll Management?Program (CPMP) at the level of Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP).
This means you can advance beyond basic accounting principles and have the chance to practice your skills in industry-standard software applications. NPI?requires a Work Experience Requirement Application (WERA) and a passing program grade of 65% for certification, including a transfer credit of Introduction to Accounting.
