As more degrees become available online there are no 100% online cosmetology programs due to the hands on work. We are about to change the way students can successfully earn their diploma predominantly online.
Online 1050 Hour Cosmetology Program
As more degrees become available online there are no 100% online cosmetology programs due to the hands on work. We are about to change the way students can successfully earn their diploma predominantly online.
Due to the pandemic, we were able to deliver all of our theory (Pivot Point LAB) and the practical component using Go to Meeting, Zoom and Google Classroom. We found that with the use of these platforms, students could engage with an instructor along with their mannequins and tools and successfully complete all elements of hairstyling.
Our delivery would be a combination of Asynchronous (Instruction or communication that is not ?live? blogs, podcasts, videos) and Synchronous (Online teaching and learning in which the participants interact at the same time and in the same space. Video or web-based conferencing is an example.)
Students would be required to attend 3 days per week, 8 hours per day as well as in Facility two Saturdays a month. ?
This is a great option for students that are living in a rural setting and cannot commit to moving to a large urban center as well that those struggling to meet the vaccination requirements of larger institutions.?
