Digital Marketing (Online) covers the essentials of search engine and social media marketing while exploring the principles of content optimization, and analytics. This is your opportunity to pursue a new career, or gain the skills to boost your existing career, from the convenience of your home and comfortably fit an education into your busy life.
Students will learn how to effectively plan marketing activities based on market research and identify target customers. Explore content strategy, ranging from how to develop content for specific target audiences to measuring the impact and results, email marketing at the conversion and retention stages, and how to create, execute and measure the results of email campaigns.
Graduates will also gain skills and knowledge on:
Display advertising campaigns using Google Ads
Constructing and optimizing pay-per-click Google Ads and techniques on marketing spending and budgeting
Online reputation management using real-life case studies
Search engine analytics using Google Analytics to evaluate audiences and conversions, measure acquisition success and utilizing results for planning and budgeting
Techniques on social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat, to deliver targeted content and impact interactions between businesses and consumers
The key concepts and trends of digital marketing drive marketing for businesses and the knowledge to apply digital marketing tools and best practices will enable graduates to excel as a digital marketing professional. Students have the option to take the Digital Marketing (Online) program full-time at 20 hours per week, or part time at just 10 hours per week.
