During the Dental Hygiene program, you?ll learn how to:
Conduct an initial dental assessment and provide client-centered dental hygiene care
Instruct patients regarding oral hygiene procedures
Prevention and treatment of gingival/periodontal disease
Scaling and root planing (cleaning teeth)
Take dental impressions for the fabrication of mouthguards and whitening trays
Apply sealants
Remove stains
Apply fluoride treatment
Take and process X-rays (digital)
