This program equips students with the knowledge and skills they need to enter the construction industry as skilled professionals with training in site operations, coordination, and supervision. Students will study construction theories, practices, and computer-aided design techniques. Major topics include the design concepts of buildings, the application of building code and standards, construction drawing methods, construction surveying, basic project management skills, scheduling techniques, health and safety regulations, and construction estimating.
