To the extent that you express an interest in one or more Programs, your personal information may be shared with an Educational Institution. Authorized third parties may be utilized by EDKOSMOS to collect, track, and process such information.
Customer Information, including but not limited to information regarding the way you use this Website, that may be collected by EDKOSMOS will not be processed or disclosed by EDKOSMOS except as permitted by these terms and conditions. By being a user of this Website, you agree that EDKOSMOS may share with other parties Aggregate Information, Individual Information and Locator Information gathered by EDKOSMOS during your continuing use of this site. “Aggregate Information” is information that describes the habits, usage patterns and/or demographics of users as a group but does not describe or reveal the identity of any particular user. “Individual Information” is information about a user that is presented in a form indistinguishable from information relating to other users but not in a form that personally identifies any user or enables the recipient to communicate directly with any user. “Locator Information” consists of a user’s name, e-mail address, physical address and/or other data about the user that enables the recipient to personally identify the user. (Note that your election not to receive any such promotional information will not affect your receipt of offers or communications that were processed prior to your election.) Aggregate, Individual and Locator Information will be processed and stored by EDKOSMOS in Canada.
EDKOSMOS may also collect information about how users access the Website using a tracking ID unique to each user using cookies (see cookie policy below).
Except as set forth below in connection with the inquiry about programs offered by various educational institutions, EDKOSMOS will not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, license, sell or redistribute any of your personal profile information. Customer comments or testimonials will not be used without written consent. Customers have direct online access to review, update, correct or discontinue their personal profiles at any time.
(a) When you inquire about Programs through EDKOSMOS, we provide personal information about you to the Educational Institutions or other involved third party to process your inquiries. We also use information you provide during registration or as part of the inquiry process to customize the content of our Website to meet your specific needs and to make improvements to EDKOSMOS.
(b) As a user of the Website you will occasionally receive updates from us about Programs, special offers, new EDKOSMOS services and noteworthy news. We hope you will find these updates interesting and informative. You may also receive e-mail messages from Educational Institutions or third-party vendors with whom EDKOSMOS has established an alliance. If you would rather not receive them, please send an e-mail message to EDKOSMOS with the subject “No e-mail” or “UNSUBSCRIBE”.
