Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent; or mature student status (18 years of age and pass a Superintendent approved qualifying test

TRAVEL CONSULTANT PROGRAM
TThis course has been designed by Hamilton School of Careers & Hamilton Institute and Technology to introduce the student to the practices and procedures of Travel Counseling. In-class instruction will familiarize the student with the everyday duties of a travel counselor. Tico training will also be included in the program, as well as computer training with Apollo to give the student a first hand account of Travel Counseling as a career.
Students may elect to write the certification examination offered
twice yearly by the CITC (Canadian Institute of Travel Counselors). After successfully passing this examination plus securing three verifiable years of Travel Counseling work experience, the person
will be able to apply for, and if approved, use the CTC (Certified
Travel Counselor) credential after his or her name.
