Therapeutic Recreation

The Therapeutic Recreation diploma program will prepare students to work with a variety of clients in many different health-care settings. Students will explore the impact of recreation and leisure on individual wellness and how to enhance the quality of life for clients through leisure activities.
Career opportunities
Upon successful completion of the program, you will be qualified to work in continuing care, assisted living centres, hospitals, lodges, and mental health and day program settings.
