Summit?s Security Guard Program meets all the training requirements established by the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services. Some of the units covered in the program are The Private Security Act and Ministry Code of Conduct, Basic Security Procedures, Report Writing, Canadian Legal System, Use of Force Theory and more.

Graduates of the Security Guard Program are equipped with the skills to write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons; answer alarms and investigate disturbances and patrol industrial or commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion.
