Medical Office Administrators are the hubs of any medical office. They are the first impression and a key member of the health care profession. The Medical Office Administrator (MOA) diploma program is taught by health care professionals, who bring their knowledge, experience, and insight into small?-sized classrooms give you a head start on your career path. Students will learn the skills necessary to be successful as Medical Office Administrators. Students will learn skills such as keyboarding skills, how to work in office environments, medical environments, medical terminology and more.
In addition, the college will coordinate a clinical practicum placement within a healthcare setting to gain practical, related experience. This is an important and exciting part of the learning experience. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates can find employment in doctors offices, chiropractor offices, medical clinics, hospitals, insurance companies, and more.
