Our Makeup Artistry Technician Diploma is the only dual-licensed program in Atlantic Canada that offers students both a Makeup Artistry and Eyelash Technician License. You will gain practical application techniques for various makeup artistry topics including Bridal, Introduction to Special Effects (SFX), High Fashion, Film and Television, Glamour, and more. You will also master the latest lash techniques including lash extensions, lash lift and tint. Throughout the program you will learn skills for retail, commercial or personal capacities; greatly expanding your options and increasing your career opportunities. Unlike other schools in the province, all our students are provided a 4-week work license so they can confidently demonstrate and develop skills for real-world experiences.|

As Atlantic Canada?s most comprehensive makeup artistry program, you will gain hands-on training in makeup artistry and eyelash technology. You will learn state-of-the-art makeup techniques using MUA?s most loved makeup brands ? MAC Cosmetics and Make Up For Ever.
You will also gain in-depth knowledge and practical experience with eyelash extension applications including lash lift (perming), lash tinting, touch-ups and extension removal as well as brow tinting and lamination. Throughout the program, you will learn how to market yourself and your services, establish relationships and grow your client portfolio.

Preparation to take the licensing exams of the Cosmetology Association of Nova Scotia
Makeup Artistry is legislated as a licensed trade within Nova Scotia. Upon successful completion of this program, you will receive a diploma in Makeup Artistry Technician and be prepared to take the licensing exams of the Cosmetology Association of Nova Scotia in both makeup artistry and lash technology.
Passing this exam allows you to receive your licenses in both makeup artistry and lash technology. Only license holders can perform make-up and lash enhancement applications professionally.
