Learn to work with Bald Caps and Facial Hair props, Latex Aging, 1st, 2nd, 3rd degree and chemical Burns, Frost Bites, as well as Bullet Holes. Additionally, learn to create fresh and decaying zombies.
Learn essential theories, product knowledge and safe application techniques of standard out of kit Special Effects Makeup Artistry. Learn with our Interactive lessons and gain life-long access to Course Content including Quizzes to test your Knowledge, step-by-step demonstration videos and portfolio building Assignments.
EXPECTED OUTCOME
This Course is designed as a Continuing Education SFX Course 2 of 2 for Media Makeup Artists in preparation for your journey in applying to become a Unionized Makeup Artist for the Film and Television industry. The techniques in this program along with TV Trauma, Beauty and Media Makeup skills are recommended prior to applications made to IATSE, along with other requirements as per the Union.
PRE-REQUISITES
Prior Certification in Makeup Artistry required from an Approved College as listed by the Beauty Council of Ontario (www.beautycouncilcanada.ca)? If you do not have prior Certification, consider our $1,200.00 Online Beauty Makeup Certificate or our $600.00 Online STEP UP Makeup Class prior to completing this advanced Fashion Makeup Artistry Course. Purchase your own SFX kit or use ours in class for a small fee of $100+tax (for Blended Course).
