A career in helping people as a community services worker is a great choice for anyone who wants to give back.
Taking the Community Services Worker program at CDI College is the right way to get the hands-on training you need to assist people who are struggling with addictions, mental illness, or are experiencing domestic violence.
Community Services Workers
Working across the social services sector, community services workers focus on the care and well-being of people, and there is a great need for compassionate, giving workers to fill these roles.
As part of your community services worker training, you will get certifications in Level 1 First Aid and CPR, Level 1 Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), and Level 1 Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI).
Hands-on Community Worker Training
The program offers real-world job experience with an eight-week, 300-hour field practicum placement, so you?ll be job-ready before you graduate.
Additionally, you?ll also get an opportunity to work with our Career Services staff, who will work with you to create a personal profile to market yourself to employers, including resume help, job interview preparation, and more.
